The Planning and Development's Office of Building Permits and Inspections is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the City's adopted construction codes. The Office of Building Permits and Inspections processes multiple types of construction permit applications, conducts plans reviews of construction plans and schedules and performs subsequent field inspections to verify compliance with the City and State building safety standards. The process of building permits and inspections provides the citizens of Conway with a safe built environment in their homes, schools, churches, shops and places of work and business. The City of Conway Office of Building Permits and Inspections is committed to protecting public safety, property values and the character of Conway.
